The weather forecast for Sunday just gone was so bad that I did wonder at one point if the competition would go ahead. I had a wander round the course with the Course Manager before play and was amazed at the condition of the course, in particular the greens, considering the amount of rainfall we endured on Saturday night.
The competition went ahead and there were some good scores in the tricky conditions of heavy showers and moderate winds.
Mike Adamantos came out on top with a fantastic score of 83-17=66, closely followed by Mark Bradford, Jim Wilson and Kevin Dunks who all scored net 67. Mark finished 2nd on countback with net 33 on the back 9, Kevin 3rd with net 35 on the back 9 and Jim fourth with net 36 on the back 9.
