Last night the Management Committee and Management of the club had our own ‘Cobra’ meeting to discuss the current situation regarding Coronavirus.

An e-mail update will go out as soon as possible today for general information including future events but this communication is all about the International on Saturday.

The result of the meeting was that the International will go ahead with some important amendments to the organisation outlined below.

The entry fee of £19 should be paid by BACS and not cash on the day, if you don’t have that facility and can arrange with someone to pay for you please do so, if not please let me know.
Sort Code 16-26-18, Account number 12151620.

Scorecards will be handed out under the gazebo by the flag pole on the way to the tee. there will be no reception desk in the clubhouse.

Tee times will be spread out to every 10 minutes, click here for START TIMES

On the course please follow guidelines detailed in the e-mail to be sent out later today.

FOLLOWING PLAY PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND HOT WATER

On the catering side, tables will be laid out sparsely with two in the spike bar, two in the lounge bar and two in either side of the restaurant and if the weather is fine some in the garden by the side of the restaurant.

The first two groups will come in and be asked to sit at tables well apart from each other, advice will be to eat as promptly as possible and leave as soon as you have finished eating, where possible drinks orders will be taken and delivered to the tables. Please note food will be served to each table and not collected from the carvery.

There will be no presentation following play, results will be posted on the website and e-mailed out with prizes available to be picked up later.

In making this decision the utmost consideration has gone into the safety of the members and staff. Should government guidelines change within the next few days we will obviously keep you up to date with what is happening.

There is one space in the competition for a player within the Wales team, if you would like to play please let me know by reply to this e-mail.

If you have any questions regarding the International or Coronavirus in general please call me as soon as possible.

Kind Regards
Gareth Williams
General Manager
