James Foster wins the BB&O PGA Alliance Pro-Am at The Berkshire GC, Jim Wilson wins George Brown Cup and Andy Clifton the Lombard Qualifier

A little bit of history was made at The Berkshire Golf Club on Thursday last week when James Foster became the third Professional from Newbury & Crookham Golf Club to win the BB&O Alliance Cup.

James fired 3 birdies and an eagle to shoot a fine round of 5 under par for 41 stableford points to win by two clear points.

James followed in the footsteps of Newbury’s previous professional’s Jack Hughes and David Harris as winner of the trophy, Jack won it in 1950 and again in 1954 and David Harris won it in 1989.
