The Seniors mens teams have had a good season & were top of the league in July. However two away defeats to Calcot and N.Wilts and a home draw with Donnington Grove have seen them slip to third place. This is still a good improvement on last year and Alan Wilcockson should get special mention for his win ratio of 71%.
On 28 August the men’s 19+ team drew their home match with Calcot 2-2, the winning Newbury pairs were Clive Reed & Keith O’Dell and Mike Roberts & Tim Escudier.
