The Newbury & Crookham Seniors section had a well-attended AGM on Monday 4th February.
Seniors Captain Keith Watson presented the trophies for 2018. Two golfers stood out with three victories each. Seif Morbi won the Seniors Open Roy Bell cup, the Twos Cup & the Holford Tankard. Former President Chris Ball won the George Adams Goblet, the Hine shield & the Arthur Shirtliff cup for the 2018 Master Golfer.
The seniors’ team in the Thames Valley League were congratulated for their third place, only missing out by one point to second place Calcot. Secretary Roger Harman highlighted the donation by the Seniors Section to the club for the planned Storm Shelter by the 5th Tee.
The section look forward to a good years golfing led by the newly elected 2019 Seniors Captain, John Hughesdon.
