The September Stableford & Clifford Cup was played on Saturday in glorious sunshine on Saturday with One Hundred and Fifteen members taking part. The best score on the day was that of David Bamford with 40pts. Congratulations Dave, you were also the lowest score of anybody with a handicap between 14-28 and have therefore won the Clifford Cup.
Well done to Rob Lowe who just pipped Paul Pantanella with 37pts but a better back 9 to win division 1, Lewis Woollard was one shot further back in 3rd with 36pts. Dave Bamford took the division 2 crown with 40pts from Rob Chivers and Steve Burton who had 39pts and 38pts respectively. Division 3 was won by Toby Albert with 39pts, three points clear of Dave Lyons with 36pts and Brian Saunders 1 point further back with 35pts.
