DOMINIC TROPHY
The Dominic Trophy is a fourball aggregate format and played for this weekend in glorious sunshine. A countback was required to decide the winners from 3 pairs who all scored 71 points. John Thorogood and Nick Randall scored 42pts on the back 9 holes to edge out Paul Pantanella & Peter Townsley and Matt Dean & Jim Wilson who scored 37pts and 35pts respectively. Chris Barlow & Kevin Dunks, Seif Morbi and Jo Grieve and Phil Allen & Dave Middlemass were all one point behind on 70.
LADIES JULY STABLEFORD
The ladies July stableford was also played this week and the scoring was superb to include 35 points achieved by the Lady Captain, Louise Willson, to emerge the winner of the Silver Division by virtue of a better back 6 from Linda Hunt also on 35 points. Laura Foster-Fletcher achieved a fantastic 39 points to reduce her handicap and win the Bronze Division.
MIDWEEK STABLEFORD
Mark Berry and Kevin Dunks both scored a fantastic 41pts in the midweek stableford, Mark Berry’s 22pts on the back 9 meant that he took first place. Andrew Mead finished 3rd on count back with 39pts.
