The Bank Holiday weather was perfect for once and the course played fantastically well. The turn around in the course condition considering the weather we were enduring only one month ago is nothing short of a miracle.
The team of Tim Wehrle, Jim Wilson, Wayne Fowler and Darren Ditum were 1st with 92pts, Luke Gregory, Penny Maughan, Len Mrowiec and Craig Ward were 2nd with 88pts and Nick Poole, Kevin Rowe, Paul Walden and Stuart Morland were 3rd with 82pts (44 on back 9).
The team that won the best score on each hole was David Ashworth, Jared Ashworth, Ashley Ilott and Ryan Gearing with 54pts.
Nearest the pin’s were won by Sue Beecroft and Peter Mooney.
