We offer a range of Individual Membership options to suit everyone from the regular to the occasional player.
Our fees are competitive and reflect the excellent facilities and services we have to offer.
All our membership options include being able to play a top class golf course in superb condition all year round.
Membership Benefits
Membership of Newbury & Crookham Golf Club has a wide range of benefits, a summary of which are listed below:
Full Course Access
Full use of a fantastic, mature, 18 hole golf course winding through woodland, heather and gorse, and providing a wonderful test of golf. State of the art irrigation system serving fairways, tees and greens helping to ensure the course is kept in outstanding condition all year round. On going programme of installing PC Drainage into the greens. 10% Discount for married or cohabiting couples.
Membership of a Members' Golf Club
The golf club is run for the benefit of the members. All full members with 5 continuous years own an equal share of the club. The club is run on a not for profit basis and any surplus gained is reinvested in the course and other facilities.
Competitive Golf
Range of competitions in various formats, both during the week and at weekends to suit every level of golfer. * Historic Cup competitions, including the oldest strokeplay cup still being played for in England. * As well as a 1st, 2nd & 3rd team, various sections within the club, Senior (Over 55's), 19+ (handicap 19 or above), ladies, senior ladies and junior sections, provide excellent opportunities for competitions and inter-club matches.
Group Golf
Various roll-up groups throughout the week meaning that, even if you are new to the area and/or the golf club, you will be made to feel welcome. Reciprocal arrangements with other clubs allowing golf at a range of other courses from only £10 per group. (Pre booking through office required). Practice Facilities & Teaching
Use of recently built, indoor practice facility.* Use of purpose built short game practice area with excellent green & bunkers Members’ discounted rates on tuition. Teaching on all aspects of your golf available from PGA Professionals using the latest video & computer software. * Fees apply, please check with The Pro Shop for further information.
Club House & Social Events
Busy social calendar offering a range of events. Bar & restaurant, offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Members’ discounted rates on bar and food purchases.

Prices shown for 2024/25 MEMBERSHIP IS CURRENTLY FULL AND THERE IS A WAITING LIST. THE WAITING LIST IS CLOSED AND A NEW ONE WILL OPEN ON SEPTEMBER 1ST. IF YOU ARE NOT ON OUR CURRENT WAITING LIST AND WISH TO BE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST STARTING IN SEPTEMBER PLEASE E-MAIL GARETH.WILLIAMS@NEWBURYGOLF.CO.UK Membership year runs 1st June - 31st May Monthly payment terms available 10% discount for joint membership From September 1st, upon payment of your first year's annual fees there will be and additional fee of £500 payable, which will be a contribution to course and facilities maintenance. This fee is not applicable to junior members or those members in the 18-20 category.
