Dress Code

Our aim is to create a welcoming, relaxed, informal atmosphere with a dress code that is in line with current fashion, while at the same time maintaining a suitable standard of dress for our club. We are suggesting options or preferences rather than stringent rules.

For the Men:

Recognised golfing attire:

  • smart trousers or golf shorts, but not beach or track-suit type wear
  • shirts with sleeves and collars and worn tucked in
  • sports socks and golf shoes

For the Ladies:

Recognised golfing attire:

  • smart shorts, skorts, long or cropped trousers, but not beach or track-suit type wear
  • shirts should have collars and/or sleeves and should be either fitted or worn tucked in
  • sports socks and golf shoes

Members, their guests and visitors are encouraged to change after playing. Clean, dry golfing attire is acceptable (but no headwear please). Footwear is to be worn, sandals may be worn in the summer months, but not rubber flip-flops.

Wet and or muddy clothing, golf shoes and torn, holed or faded jeans are not permitted in the Clubhouse.

When there is a function in the Clubhouse then smart casual attire is required:

For Men: clean shirts, which have a collar or a polo shirt, pressed trousers and closed shoes; casual wear does not require a tie or jacket.

For Ladies: ladies are requested to observe the spirit of the Dress Code where, because of differences in male and female attire, it is inappropriate for them to observe the letter of it.

Please keep mobile telephones in silent mode in the clubhouse, course or practice areas.

Golf bags & sports bags are not permitted in the clubhouse, except the changing rooms.

THE CLUBHOUSE IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING
