A Warm Welcome with First Class Facilities

Whatever the size of your group, party or function, Newbury & Crookham Golf Club has the facilities to suit. With a fantastic new professional’s shop, refurbished bar areas and flexible restaurant area to seat over 90 guests.

Newbury & Crookham Golf Club is conveniently located on the outskirts of Newbury, the club has ample car parking along with a relaxing, comfortable, flexible space to accommodate your requirements.

Club House

Whatever the size of your group, party or function, we have the facilities to suit. Newbury & Crookham Golf Club is the ideal place to hold that special occasion or important business meeting. 

The Spike Bar is located at the front of the clubhouse with ceiling to floor window’s overlooking the golf course ensuring a bright and airy ambience.

As the name suggests the bar is furnished with spike proof carpet allowing golfers to relax in their golf shoes either before or after their round.

As long as clothing is clean and tidy a relaxed dress code is acceptable.

From society lunches & daily specials to carveries & gourmet menus, the golf club provides an exceptionally high standard of food and service to Newbury & Crookham’s golfers. We are also able to provide everything from dinner parties to celebrations, weddings and corporate events.

Summer – 7am until 10.30pm*
Winter – 7am until 6pm*

Bar Opening Hours

Summer – 11am until 10.30pm*
Winter – 11am until 6pm*

Gareth Williams

General Manager
A former junior member of the Club Gareth went on to work as Assistant Golf Professional for David Harris for several years before moving on to take up the post of Head Professional elsewhere. After 20 years of moving up through the ranks from Golf Professional to Director of Golf and Assistant General Manager of a hotel Gareth took the opportunity to return ‘home’ and take up the position of General Manager in April 2015. 01635 40035 Option 1 Email Gareth

Rebe Tatem-Harrison

House Manager
Once you have finished your round and are ready for refreshment, Rebe will be waiting for you with a warm welcome. Rebe’s work ethic is second to none and she will often be seen opening the clubhouse first thing in the morning and locking it up at night. Rebe's responsibilities include managing the clubhouse and ensuring a warm welcome is there for members and visitors alike.

Jeff Salt

Bar Assistant
Our most recent recruit, Jeff has fast become a welcome member of the team. Always there with a smile and ready to help, he quite often has a story to share too. Nothing is too much for Jeff, who is always willing to help wherever he can.

Linda Crookson

Office Assistant
Linda started with the club in February 2006, her role as office assistant is part time and you can find her in the office from Wednesday through to Friday from 8am until 1pm. Linda deals with day to day organisation of anything golf or social related. Whether you have played in a winter competition or one of the club’s knockouts, paid your subscriptions or been on a table plan for one of the Club’s social events, Linda will have been involved behind the scenes. An unsung hero!!
