Thirty teams took part in Captains’ Charity Day on Sunday followed by a charity auction and a great evening listening to Barry, Nick, Tom and Neil playing their guitars and singing very well at the open mic night.
The golf competition was won with 97pts by David Gingell, Julian Scott, Simon Sharrett and Jason Burton followed by the team of Hugh Turley, Liam Turley, Matt Dean and Ivor Graham in second with 46pts. The third placed team was that of Len Mrowiec, Trevor Spires, Keith Talmage and Ben Rhymes with 95pts.
