After an unexpected amount of rain on late on Saturday/early Sunday morning I was half expecting the competition to fall victim to the weather but Chris and his team are doing an amazing job out there day in day out and fortunately the competition could go ahead.
The split sixes format meant that the speed of play was impressive and all round the course and back in the clubhouse within 3 1/2 hours.
Congratulations to Jim Wilson and Kevin Welch who cam out on top with a superb 41pts, followed by Robin Hope and Jon Miller with 40pts and third place, on count back, went to Andrew and John McCartney with 39pts and 22 on the back 9. Missing out on 3rd place were Dan and Keith Talmage with 39pts and 20 on the back 9.
