The Local Companies Day competitors were lucky with the weather yesterday with the rain arriving at the very end of the day but it didn’t dampen spirits and a good day was enjoyed by all.

The course received some rave reviews from competitors and there were some good scores on the day too. The scoring format

The winning team were the Cheam School team of Martin Harris, Dominic Pike, Belinda Miller and Andrew Godwin with a fantastic 87 points. Second place, on count-back, went to the Katchar Racing team of John Flint, Roger Rhymes, Craig Ward and Joel Jervis with 85 points and 44 on the back 9. In third place was the Relyon Cleaning team of Paul Bennellick, Barry Stone, Jake Heaver and Tony Dore with 85 points and 43 on the back 9.

Roger Rhymes won the nearest the pin prize with his shot coming to rest 44 inches from the pin.
