There was a rumour circulating that a member had achieved a hole in one at the 10th hole, having checked with the member which wrist he would fancy wearing his brand new Hugo Boss watch on it turned out it was a mistake typing and it was in fact a zero for a No Return.
The weather on Saturday was fine and the scoring was amazing. The in form George Todd covered the front 9 in a steady 34 shots, 1 over par. He turned for home with a birdie at 10 but then bogeyed 12, a bounce back birdie at 13 and then 5 pars in around ‘the park’ secured a level par round of 69, minus his 6 handicap gave him a net 63.
Well played George, you could see it coming!!
