COMPETITION RESULTS
Well done to George Todd who won the Portal Cup last weekend, his incredible score of gross 68 nett 62 was good enough to win the flag competition. George had 7 shots to play with after finishing his round and did well to use those shots to finally plant his flag 2 ft from the 2nd hole. Runner up was Dave Middlemass who scored a nett 64 off his 12 handicap and put his flag 38yds from the 2nd hole. Third place went to Peter Mooney who scored a nett 65 and finished with his flag in the 1st hole.

Congratulations to Sue Beecroft who won this year’s Lady Captains’ Rosebowl on 8th October with a fabulous score of 37 points, two points clear of Gill Myers. It is the first time Sue has won this trophy and this has a special significance to her as her step Mum, Majorie Risby, was the first winner of the trophy in 1979 and again in 1986. Well done Sue!!
