After the horrendous weather conditions of Saturday the course played well on Sunday for the first of the winter competition series.
There were some fantastic scores and the winners could only be separated from 2nd place by virtue of countback and with 46 points and 26 on the back 9 holes the winners were Alan Smith and Dave Middlemass. Also with 46 points but 24 on the back 9 the runners up were Craig Ward and Roland Gardner, in third place were Nick Poole and Stewart Morland with 45 points.
